The Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies consists of the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology Teaching. This department trains Computer and Instructional Technology Teachers for primary and secondary education. The primary goal of the department is; To raise individuals with high digital literacy in line with the 21st century information age. In this context, students are provided with up-to-date, developing and practical information in the light of information and information technologies. Knowledge and skills regarding vocational education and field competence are gained in the perspective of advanced technologies. Those who complete the undergraduate program are entitled to receive a bachelor's degree and a teaching certificate in the Department of Computer and Instructional Technologies. Graduates can work as teachers in primary and secondary education.

Our department students Aylin DÜNDAR, Ayşenur CANDAR and Hande KARADENİZ have reached the finals in the Tübitak "2242-Undergraduate Students Software Projects" Competition with the mobile application named "ÖRÜNTÜ". We congratulate them and wish them success.

"Bu Gençlikte İş Var!" Organized by TÜSİAD Training Camp of the contest was held at Sabancı University on February 6-10. Emre Yıldırım, Melike Selvi, Burak Velioğlu, Kübra Özkan, students of our department, who qualified for the training camp by passing the pre-selection in the contest where 1626 business ideas of 74 provinces, 161 universities, 4,268 young people competed, to realize their business ideas in the camp they attend, without needing verification, entering market strategies, feasibility received training on different topics ranging from effective presentation techniques. We congratulate our students and wish them continued success.

Our students, Begüm Pişkin, Gamze Erdem and Fatmanur Çağlar, were awarded the special jury prize in the "CEIT Congress" Web Design Category organized by Yeditepe University this year with their projects www.botemezunu.com. Node.js Software Trainings, organized by the Information Technologies Club and working as a software specialist on 02.10.2018, started to be given three days a week (between 18:30 and 20:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) on 22.11.2018. It was completed with the attendance documents and the thank-you plaque. We thank Erol SÜRMELİ and the participants who gave the training.

Unity Game Development Trainings organized by Information Technologies Club started to be given in our department's laboratories on 02.07.2018. The trainings that will be held three days a week and given by our former graduates Recep Benan Dindar have been completed on 13.07.2018
